Question?
How often do I need a nurse consultant to visit?

Answer-
T he Connecticut Department of Public Health Child Care Licensing regulations require that all centers and group homes have weekly health consultant visits, and programs enrolling children between two and three years of age part day are required to have a monthly health consultant visit. A minimum of quarterly health consultant visits shall be made to  centers and group homes enrolling only preschool age children.
Weekly-if you enroll children 3-5 years of age in a full day program
Monthly-if you enroll only children between 2-3 years of age in a half day program
4 times per year- if you are a family daycare or group home enrolling children 3-5 years of age
3 times per year- if you are an aftercare program enrolling only children kindergarten and up
